Sorry about the slowness of getting things posted. We’re in and out of mobile hot-spots while cruising. Last night took all night to transfer the pictures to the computer and save them. So you may get a two-fer today. We sail at 4:00 for Amsterdam, but I’ll get back from the Cathedral about noon so I’ll try to get something off before we leave.
This was another quiet day for me. The tours went to the town of Bacharach, a rather long walk, followed by a winery tour with tastings of three Rieslings. I didn’t want to walk and I wasn’t interested in the wine tasting so I stayed aboard.
But the real adventure was the cruise down the Rhine Valley with all the castles. I made up for all the pictures I didn’t take in Frankfurt…192 of the entire valley including the sunset after dinner. Of course most a multiple shots of the same thing so I’ll have to cull them before I publish the album for you…unless you really are a glutton for punishment. I’ll make the link, but you’ve been warned!
I realize this posting, although far more spectacular, is short. I had two options, give you the history of each castle (11 castles this afternoon after lunch alone…and that was the short run.) or just say, here they are folks. Look at the pictures, find the shot of the map, start at the beginning, and you’re on your own. So……
Here they are folks. Look at the pictures, find the shot of the map, start at the beginning, and your on your own!! If you’re up to it,
No reflections tonight. Was up on the upper deck until sundown, 10:15, and I’m headed to bed. If the Lord wakes me up I’ll update the blog.
Till then,
Good night! Blessings and peace.
